I agrre, Chiodos with Craig was an amazing thing. without him, i thought the band would blow. But Brandon really impressed me (although I think he tries too hard to sound like Craig (or he was heavily influenced by him)) New Chiodos has lasting power. The lyrics lack, but the instrumental is still great. The piano in "Those Who Slay Together, Stay Together" gave me a small 'gasm.I wish Craig couldve sang that song. However, Thermacare was leaked. So I'm happy. Anyway, Old > New.

Old Chiodos! I have yet to listen to new Chiodos. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I finally listened to new chiodos for the first time yesterday.. it'll take me awhile to get used to and I'm pretty biased cause I still think Craig was perfect for chiodos.. but it's alright.

I haven't listened to the new stuff recorded, but I watched them with the new singer at Bamboozle. It's disappointing, because in the old songs he just holds out the mic for the crowd to sing the parts where he can't hit Craig's notes. But still it wasn't bad as everyone thought it would be.

I think new Chiodos kinda lost their edge a little a bit. Brandon kinda sounds like Craig but not. I don't know, now they kinda sound like every other band out there. But they don't sound horrible, no hating on it.

Originally, I hadn’t planned on listening to any of their new music, at least not for a while. However, when they released their first new song, I caved into my curiosity. I didn't listen to any of the other new tracks until two days ago after I saw they released "Caves", which I think is a good song, actually. As far as “Slay Together” and “Modern Wolf Hair” are concerned, I think Bolmer’s trying too hard and the songs are just mediocre.
I’ll love the guys in Chiodos forever, even if I don’t like the choice they made or the new music they put out. They’ve been a big part of my life and I can’t ignore that or erase it. I’m not going to walk around and be angry forever because it’s unnecessary, really, it is. (I mean if Craig isn't angry anymore, why should I be?) I still think Brandon tries too hard. There is a similarity between his and Craig’s voices, but you can tell when he’s trying to make it that way and when it’s natural. (That’s how I feel, anyway, call me crazy.) Bolmer’s not bad on the new stuff, but I can’t really say the same about him doing old Chiodos. I still think he needs to grow up and not doodle on pictures of Craig because I can’t respect him when he does things like that.

I'm Amusing most people have listened to Illuminaudio and I'm also going to go out on a limb and guess that most people heard the 'Thermacare' demo. Does the track 'Stratovolcano Mouth' from Illuminaudio have the same music and rhythms as Thermacare?
You guys be the judge of that...

Chiodos and Craig split "Thermacare", Craig got his lyrics and melodies, while the band got to keep the music. So I'm really looking forward to see how D.R.U.G.S. changed the song or if they even include it on the album.

Honestly I like both and I don't think they should be compared.
