Honestly I like both and I don't think they should be compared. It's a bit hard not to compare them. Yeah seriously.

Old Chiodos for the win. Lyrically, they were better than every other band I've ever heard. That's my opinion anyway New Chiodos can suck it.

Yeah but then you get the whole ronnie radke and sonny moore situation. I feel for the artists when they are compared like that.

I really agree with everyone on this board. Old Chiodos was amazing. The lyrics were powerful, and Craig's voice was just beautiful. It sounds to me that New Chiodos is trying to keep their sound.. but it's just not up to par for me.

They did manage to write a pretty good record without Craig, but it doesn't seem like the record will have much of a lasting value.

I can't listen to New Chiodos as Chiodos. i will rename them. New Chiodos is now Frank in my mind. A new, average, Post Hardcore Band.

I believe that neither is better or worst due to the simple fact that both are different. How often do you hear comments about a band's new record being different when the lineup hasn't even changed? With that in mind i will simply say that i am neutral. It's their first album with Bolmer so you just got to give them time. I will personally wait for their next record to really take a side.
