Again this year, someone was trampled on Black Friday when the doors opened. Every year we hear the same story and sometimes people die.
I don't live in the states so can someone explain to me why is Black Friday such a big deal. I mean is saving a hundred box on a TV you don't really need more important than a human life?
Here's the video of the surveillance camera:
Fortunately, no one seems to be hurt really bad. But I don't understand why people kept running and kept pushing forward knowing there was someone on the ground. I think materialisms is too important in our society these people looks like animals hunting for food...
What do you think about this?

You'd be surprised by what some people will do to save a buck. Personally, I don't get it. I mean, some things just aren't worth it.
But then again, out economy is in the shitter. People don't have the extra money to spend, so if they know they have a chance of getting a loved one something on Black Friday at a reasonable price, they will jump on it.
The one time I went Black Friday shopping, it was absolutely crazy. It was literally like a riot had broken out in the store. There were mountains of merchandise that got trampled and destroyed by people who were too impatient to move around the stuff.
People are ridiculous.

That in my opinion is so f*cking disgusting, that they would trample over a man who was yelling on the ground. Those people to me look like they have no manners and are just so impatient. We have boxing day sales here, but I haven't heard any stories where people were injured.

Its not necessary and it just shows the ignorance of some Americans. The greed disgusts me. I never have/will go "Black Friday shopping. For fear that my heart will turn the same shade.
