There is zero percent change of Pete being the bassist. He has said before that The Black Cards is his main focus. The guy runs a label, a clothing line, a band, and a family. I can garuantee Pete Wentz will not be D.R.U.G.S.'S bassist.

Matt Manning would be cool, but he's said that he's not going to tour for a while because he wants to settle down a little bitwith his GF. And his main career is his clothing and tee shirt designs. So I wouldn't be on him sadly.

As much as I love Peter, I think I'd prefer that he not be in the band.
I'm definitely looking forward to finding out who it is though. Hopefully they make an announcement soon, because the anticipation is killin' me.

Pete Wentz would bring A LOT of popularity to the band, I think. How much more can he possibly bring? Pete is the reason D.R.U.G.S. Exists. They are signed on his label, he advertises for them. He will not be bassist. Its just not gonna happen |
