She seems like a bit of a loose cannon, I think her popularity will fade because she will offend people and I also think she's too unpredictable to get the top job. However American politics makes no sense to me so I don't know much about her policies.

I don't back Palin, but I will defend her when it comes to a slanderous story about her "hitlist". She obviously didn't want anyone to be shot. That's stupidty. The hitlist had a metaphorical theme that any human being could pick up on and understand. Loughner was a mentally unstable kid who took a web poster litterally. His actions reflect himself not that of Sarah Palin or of the republican party.
