Anyone else here like them?
I know they're not really similar in style to anything Craig Owens is in, but they're probably my 2nd favorite band. They all grew up and lived about 10 minutes from where I live. It's cool talking to them about local venues, restaurants, and stores. I think I like them more because I can really relate to them.

mad, undying love for tai. probably the band I've loved the most for the longest. I usually go through phases with bands where all ill listen to is that band for awhile and then just drop em, but tai has stuck with me for a long time. I couldn't even name my favorite song cause it changes daily, but right now it's ghost or after the last midtown show.

Nice! It's cool to have another TAI fan on here. I really like "Ghost," too. I actually got to see them play it live last November, and it was great.

Definitely Almost Here. I still do love the other albums, but they don't really have the lasting value that Almost Here does to me.

I think The Academy Is... will always be one of my favorite bands. It makes me happy to see that other people still like them, because I unfortunately don't know many people who do anymore.

Yeah, it's sad. Their new album kind of seems like their last chance to stay relevant. If it's not so successful, I can't picture them lasting much longer.

Aw TAI, About a Girl is honestly one of my most favourite songs of all time. I saw them live about 2 years ago. I scared two girls in front of me when they started playing it. I liked Fast Times best, but I also really liked Santi.
