just wondering what people think. its always been pretty split. so who's your pick?
im gonna have to say blink, ive been listening to them for ever. although i have been listening to other stuff in the past year, they will always be one of my favorite bands.

I chose Green Day simply because I know a lot more of their songs. Blink's not bad though.

oh god i hate this. i LOVE blink, especially right now.. but green day just does great things to me, and always has.. i'm going with green day.

Broke the tie! I'm going with Blink, but as far as musicianship goes, Green Day takes the cake overall. Although Travis by himself might prevail over all of Green Day. Blink just knows how to have a good time and how to connect very well with their audience and they're becoming better musicians with every new album.
I'm stoked for their new record.

Ive always liked green day better(so they get my vote). but dont get me wrong blink has written some good songs

I had absolutely no idea that a rivalry existed between the two. It's not as much of a rivalry between the bands as it is a rivalry between the fans of the bands. I know Tom DeLonge of blink-182 is friends with Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of Green Day. Mike even has a pair of custom Macbeths, Tom's shoe company. Tom has stated that he's not too fond of Tre Cool, though. |

I heard that during the Pop Disaster Tour in 2002, the two bands didn't really get along too well. Apparently Blink was being very immature the whole time (aka being themselves) and Green Day weren't too down with all that.
